Basically, the "remember passwords" feature has been disabled in IE which we use at work because apparently the info isn't encrypted.
But as a result of that everytime I log onto a webiste I have to manually punch in something like:
Username: AJDK232JD23C
Password: 178945jdwkcOkl
which is a right is right drag.
To get around this problem I thought we might be able to use Firefox. Does anyone know if Firefox encrypts this info? If so, I can persuade the IT people to install it.
The only thing I can find is this:-
"Saved Passwords
Remember Passwords
Firefox is capable of securely storing passwords you enter in web forms to make it easier to log on to Web sites. You can manage the saved passwords and delete individual passwords by clicking View Saved Passwords. To stop saving passwords altogether, uncheck this option."

Any ideas? I need to try and persuade the IT people here.
