Question "Mounting" a hard drive in windows?

Today I installed linux to an external hard drive that has 2 partitions on it, one NTFS & one ext3. When I left linux and booted back into windows, I noticed that none of the external drives were displaying in My Computer. I knew windows can't read ext3 so I got a program that enables it, and now that drive is visible. The NTFS partition however is invisible in My Computer. I opened up partition magic and I was able to browse through the files so I know they're there, I just can get to them through the normal windows explorer. The drive has a label, but no drive letter.

Does anyone know what I might need to do to get the drive to appear again?

Go in Control Panel -> Admin tools -> Computer Management -> Storage -> Disk Management. You will then see your partition with no letter assigned, rick click and assign a letter to the drive.

    That worked. Thanks.

    I don't know why I didn't think of that
