Hi,
I set up the File Synchronisation on my PC and Laptop using the Windows synchronisation method, using 'offline files' et al.
Works great with one or two files, but the problem is I want to be able to access my work easily, when I am at uni etc, and when I am back at my place, to be able to sync it easily, over wireless etc.
The problem I am having with the offline files system is that when i want to synchronise a folder contained within my shared folder, it doesnt create the same folder structure, so it looks nice and easy to navigate. But it just dumps every single file into the 'offline files' folder on my desktop and it would be practically impossible to use / to find files etc.
Does anyone know of a free application, or very cheap one, that will enable me to synchronise whole folders, i.e. when one file inside a sub folder is changed etc, the file on the other pc is changed when they are both on the network.
Or is there something built into windows that will allow for the synchronisation with file structure to exist ?
Both PC and laptop are using Windows XP.
Every bit of help is greatly appreciated
Ian
