you need to install service pack 2. see this thread -> http://forums.hexus.net/showthread.php?t=84732
my os is windows xp home with service pack 2 already in, also have installed all the available updates.

use the disk manager utility to check it out . Right click on "my computer", select "manage", select "disk management". This will show how your drive is formatted and if there is any unused space - let us know what it says and we'll take it from there.
been into disk managementand it says-
main c 127.99 GB NTFS healthy
58.32 gb unallocated.
suppose this is the missing gb's of my hard drive.

your choices are either to allocate the unused disk space and have a 58Gb 2nd partition or you can merge the two partions to make one 200Gb drive. I think to merge the partions you will have to use a 3rd party app like partition magic .... unless someone knows better?
