    Please help guys.....

I need to know what processor this system has...Is it a dual-core system? When I open Task Manager and look under Performance > CPU Usage History, I get the 2 windows, but does hyperthreading do this too?

Sorry if this is a dopey question, but I haven't had an Intel since my P2 350 way back when...

    Thanks

Thanks for the reply. Yep, I guessed as much. It's a home insurance replacement that I took receipt of today. Was told it would be a 3.4 ghz dual-core (that would probably be 945, right?). Now I am p****d because I waited 6 weeks for the thing to arrive and had to do all the chasing around!

Nope, its been a quirk of the Pentium range. They ditched it with the new Core Duo processors though.
