Yet another 'blue screen of death' guys, with a different error:

    Bad_pool_caller

    *** STOP: 0x000000c2 (0x00000007, 0x000000CD4, 0x02100001, 0x84EB5CE8)

    Is this any help?

Does this give anyone any more of an idea what might be wrong?
I am not familar with the microsof memory tester, but any failure in memtest is bad news. If the memory is failing intermittently then it might explain why it takes several hours for your PC to restart instead of restarting immedatedly.

If you run memtest more than once is the address that it fails on consistent? (or within a kilobyte or so) If it is, then it is likely that your memory is faulty. If not, then there is more likely to be a problem with your motherboard, memory controller or CPU.

If you have more than one RAM module you can try removing one at a time to find out which one is faulty. (It is not usually possible to deduce that from the reported address).

OCZ is a fairly popular brand. I doubt there is a general problem. It is associated with overclocking. If you have overclocked any part of your system, you should reset it to stock speeds in case that is part of the problem.

I googled the 'Bad_pool_caller' error, and some say it's to do with a bad device driver incorrectly accessing a memory pool or something similar. As a result of this, I'm just going to reformat the pc, to rule out any software related problems.
In response to the memtest error comment, it only came up with a 'failed' result once, and after letting it immediately go through the whole testing process again it was fine.
