    Browsing affects headset sound

Wheneber im browsing and i do activites like hover over a link or scroll down a page i hear fuzzes on the music im listening to. Everything is fine in much more demanding things like gaming. Issues are also a lot less apparent with firefox. I have a speedlink medusa 5.1 surround sound headset, the usb "mobile edition".

Please help this is very annoyign and since i have previously experienced this with another usb headset on another install of xp i expect this could help others.

Well you might not like the suggestion but I had exactly the same issue until I replaced my monitor, try unplugging it and see if you still get the buzzing.

Its electrical interference, I don't think theres much you can do about it. You could try using an external filter to cut out the high treble?
    With love and many thanks,

I cant rele put anything inline due to it being powered and transferring straight from usb (the interference only applies itself to any noise currently coming through, say that a track is ending and faading down the interference fades too).

I can't actually unplug my monitor as im on my laptop ill try it with the lid closed (monitor off) since i only need to scroll anyway.

Edit: its not all the time it happens and as i go to try it i dont get the interference, typical.
