    Vista 32bit upgrade to 64bit?

Is there or will there be a way to upgrade from a 32bit version of vista to 64bit keeping all progs and drivers working? Also is/will there be a way to upgrade the vista possibly in this process,

The reason i ask is i got a laptop at christmas and i am on that express upgrade scheme i bought 32bit vista business for £16 to see how itll be for me if i like it ill likely buy some sort of 64bit ultimate version but im just thinking of the simplest way to retain the toshiba software such as the drivers for my wireless and drivers etc...

It isn't possible to do an in place upgrade, but I'd query why you'd want to. On the client side, there really isn't much that'd gain any benefit from 64-bit.

Its more curiosity than any gain for me really. But i know for a fact because i have a working beta build of 64bit vista that videos moving across the screen are cmpletely smooth no jumping whatsoever like in 32bit xp although i know thats likely just newer, better software but theres always a chance.
