Buy a brand new, top notch laptop. No really, I would. Given the amount of time its taking a certain company to deliver a machine I ordered ages ago I could sell it for half its value, put that in the bank, rack up a few centuries of interest and then buy a laptop from someone else. Ive been using a borrowed external drive to cover up the hole in my system where i can see through to my mobo (not a bad view though...)
