I can't afford £1,200 worth of graphics card because...I'm Scottish and spend all of my disposable income on Tennent's lager.
I can't afford £1,200 worth of graphics card because...I'm Scottish and spend all of my disposable income on Tennent's lager.
I can't afford £1,200 worth of graphics card because once upon a time I was a leprechaun, but a spell was placed on me by an evil witch; the story is as follows.
One sunny day I was making my merry way to check on my pot of gold which I cared for. I arrived at the great golden pot (located at the end of the rainbow) only to find it empty. I was shocked and petrified! That gold in the pot belonged to my king, he himself had entrusted me to safeguard it! I collapsed and began weeping when a great shadow fell over me.
Above me stood a mighty witch, and she cackled,
"I shall recover your gold for you, but you will have to pay a price!" I of course jumped at this proposal thinking nothing could be as bad as telling the king of my misfortunes. She nodded, then her crooked nose turned a violent shade of red and a loud clang sounded from my pot.
I was overjoyed, my pot once again brimmed with gold. I danced around stroking my elegant ginger beard. The witch turned to me and said, "the price you must pay is this",
"In your next life you will become a Sixth Form Student who is obsessed with computer hardware and technology. BUT!, you shall have very little money and therefore only be able to salivate at future graphics cards such as the Asus Ares. You will have all of the components necessary to build a gaming rig except the graphics card so will spend your time entering competitions online attempting to win one to complete your build! MWahahaaha."
With a cloud of smoke the witch vanished leaving me to ponder my future (now current) life.
Most of that is true, and that is why i should win
(I spent more time on this than my homework :/ )
I can't afford £1,200 worth of graphics card because... Beer and Lan prices are reaping all my hard earned cash.
I can't afford £1,200 worth of graphics card because one of the people I was supposed to live with for my second year of University has dropped out. Now I'm living with 3 girls and they will be leaving all the lights on, setting the heating at 30 degrees and eating all my food all while making my rent higher.
I can't afford £1,200 worth of graphics card because my twin daughters have their second birthday coming up and we are preparing to move into our first house. Also, I have to buy supplies to go back to college next month because there is no work in my area.
I can't afford £1,200 worth of graphics card because then I wouldn't have enough money left over to build the nuclear power station to run it.
I can't afford £1,200 worth of graphics card because five years ago my dad set up his own IT business, unfortunately the people he ran it with were very arrogant and so my dad left. Soon after he set up another IT business, this time with a close friend/work colleague of his. The same year they set up the business the recession began to hit them, it hit them HARD.
So, three years on it's still a struggle - We've just sold both cars and our house is going on the market in a few days however the business is still holding on and once the recession finishes the business will probably do great however in the meantime my dad is horribly stressed and he keeps pondering over whether he should build a gaming PC to reduce his stress a little but always comes back saying he can't afford it.
This card would change my dad, it would allow him to build a PC and game on it during his spare time so that he isn't always in the pub trying to drink off the stress, which actually makes the whole lot worse.
This card wouldn't just give a gamer a smiley face, this card would make a whole family, family again.
Thanks for the opportunity,
Ben
I can't afford £1,200 worth of graphics because Jeremy Kyle abducted my kids, apparently child labour for new hardware, no matter how fast it is, is not acceptable by any means.
I can't afford £1,200 worth of graphics card because I've ran out of organs to sell.
I can't afford £1,200 worth of graphics card because I have no source of income since my dad lost his job and somebody else nicked my potential job. I still need to save up money for uni and a new computer though, especially since my brother killed my old hardware.
P.S. Yay for HEXUS!
I can't afford £1,200 worth of graphics card because I've just had another child. At no point did Durex warn me that not wearing one of their products would result in the loss of PC upgrading budget. So, I'd use the prize in my own PC and sell my mediocre graphics card on eBay to afford the court fees to sue Durex for such a discrepancy.
Moo.
I can't afford £1,200 of graphics card because we have our first baby due 3rd December and have had to put my car on Autotrader this week as my wife will be finishing work in a month.
I can't afford £1200 worth of Graphics card because I have just been demoted in my job and put on part time hours at minimum wage with a massive mortgage to pay and my wife would kick me out of the house if I spent £1200 on a Graphics card
I can't afford £1,200 worth of graphics card because I spent my money on an Nvidia Fermi card and this is what happened.. My house burnt down.
I can't afford £1,200 worth of graphics card because I'm currently unemployed having been diagnosed with Menieres disease which is a nasty ear condition that leaves you feeling pretty terrible.
Still, even if I was 100% I'd be unlikely to afford such a monster card as I normally try to spend less than a ton on any piece of hardware... Over a grand on GFX! I'm not insane.
I think I'd sell it....Get a GTX 460 and give the rest to the Menieres Society.
I can't afford £1200 worth of Graphics card because after building my girlfriend a lan rig I only have £1199.99 left in my account FFFFFFFFF---------------
