I think Hexus are actually getting pretty good at letting everyone know who's won the competitions - wan't there a big article listing all the recent winners only a few weeks ago? And as far as having competitions for forum members only, I'm sure there must be legal implications to doing that - since the comps are all of the 'no purchase necessary' variety I suspect that means that you cannot restrict entry, no? Then again, I could be talking utter garbage (wouldn't be the first time).

I would suspect it's more to do with the fact that competitions are meant to drive traffic to Hexus, not drive people away when they get frustrated that they have to sign up to some forums they aren't interested in just to enter a competition.

Of course, they're utterly misguided, because there are very few places better than Hexus, but it's not their fault that they don't understand

mmmmm, graphicky goodness! So, will any of these cards beat my SLI 8800GTXs (when I finish watercooling them)?

As to the competitions, the whole point is to drive visitors to the site, thereby (hopefully) increasing advertising revenue. I don't think there's any legal reason that they couldn't make the competitions members only, but that wouldn't really serve much purpose in a business sense.

I'm gearing up for an upgrade, but I couldn't budget for any of these cards normally My budget goes as high as a 6870 I'm getting a graduation 'present' from my parents which will cover a new mobo and Processor, this would be awesome to help me afford a dream rig
