    I know what you mean. a laptop would solve my pc worries right now. I bought a DIY kit from tiger direct and the motherboard got so hot it baked the red fiber insulater mounting pads to the motherboard. I did not realise it was getting so hot and the bios did not shut down at the temp specified. worst of all the CPU was OEM and I have been trting for a month now to get them to replace it. they deliberately draged their feet untill the warrantee expired. still havent heard from them. I guess i will save up for a new CPU, but in the meantime a laptop would be handy for the kids schoolwork and my oldest son`s GED prep test. well . good luck to all. ( I do not know if tiger direct is this way over seas or if it is just a states thing.)

    'Mountain' would certainly help the folks living in those areas. Spent Saturday trekking Snowdonia and couldn't get much of a phone signal let alone see much in the hill-fog heh
