Re: Forum Exclusive: Win a Corsair Hydro Series cooler

Would love one of these to replace my stock Intel cooler, which has developed an annoying whine (making the loudest component in my PC).
More to the point it would allow me to get a decent overclock on my trusty old i3 530.

Two great reasons why a Corsair Hydro Series cooler would love to make a home in my PC.

I'm slowly clubbing together components for a new build and, as I get older (31 so not quite 'get off my lawn' old just yet for those thinking it), I am starting to be more interested in a balance of noise and performance. One of these looks like it would be just the ticket! Happy to review it as part of said build.

    Indeed, excellent competition.

And things I like about the Hydro series, easy fitment, great cooling, great price.

I'd have to say the best thing is the sheer convenience and avoiding a leaky DIY job!

Re: Forum Exclusive: Win a Corsair Hydro Series cooler

Well I finally built my 3930k system to which I transferred my existing h80 over, sadly though no sooner than I just built her was I forced to put her into storage as a result of my landlord selling the house I was renting, so for going on 2 months now my baby has been imprisoned while I got/get myself sorted with a new place, this episode of homelessness is soon to come to a close and I will be reunited with my baby, the h80 is awesome, though I did change the fans to noctua ones, but man if I were to slap in a h100i my baby could roar like a lion instead of purring like a kitten, please donate a h100i to the cause of Lola or whatever you can afford every little helps.

Luckily I have not been unplugged all this time, between my s3 and note 10.1 I have managed to survive lol but boy do I miss having a fixed line.

Would love it though if corsair brought out a h120i as in a triple rad cooler, could you imagine the complete awesomeness of that? I was contemplating swapping all my noctua fans out for the corsair ones, would that be advisable do you reckon?

I keep living and hoping that corsair since coolit is where all these beauties come from would release their own version of the coolit omni gpu cooler that never made it to market as cooling went oem only, I nearly cried when that happened as I was looking forward to it, basically if you don't remember, it was essentially a sealed loop cooler that could fit any gpu, lol maybe we should petition corsair...

Wow, another competition from Corsair and Hexus!

I've never owned a single Corsair H Series cooler, though I've always wanted to have one. And I've never set my eyes on any other brand of liquid CPU coolers.

I like how the H series coolers look. The design and color can blend on almost any build, and of course, having that Corsair logo inside the PC case is a sure win! With a H series cooler, you don't have to deal with bulky air coolers every time you work around your PC's interior.

I'm using a corsair H70 and have used it for three years on both a Phenom II and now an i5. Its kept things cool, quiet and running like a dream.

From what I've read the performance of these closed water systems has come along a long way since I tried one about 5yrs ago. Corsair seems to be at the head of the pack from the reviews as well.

    Nice comps, thanks Hexus!

It would make for a nice Xmas present for my GF and her troubling loud PC, if I win one of these beauties What I like about them? Besides taming system noise, it would also display the same logo as my system's memory does... and the price is actually quite reasonable (in the shops, obviously even better if I win one!).

What love best about the Hydro series is that not only is it an excellent cooler, it would look awesome in my 650D with my AX850 PSU

Re: Forum Exclusive: Win a Corsair Hydro Series cooler

A few years back I had a Zalman Reserator which sprung a leak and trashed my system. I've never been able to afford a replacement water cooled system and have really missed the audible benefits of such a set up. The good thing about these Corsair Hydro products is it's a good way of reaping some of that benefit without having to shell out for the full kit. I'd love one so I can take this existing behemoth heatsink piece of crap and banshee wailing fan, and give myself a hernia trying to launch it over the back garden fence at the chavs behind
