Ooh.. nice little device. I can already think of a few uses for one.
Pick me, pick me
Looks like a good portable hard drive to go with my SSD laptop!

What does it matter now if men believe or no?
What is to come will come. And soon you too will stand aside,
To murmur in pity that my words were true

To see the wizard one must look behind the curtain ....
Don't mind if I do :-)
It'd certainly help with the Nexus 4's storage limitations (and issues with USB OTG).
Groovy
This would be great for carrying my music around
Nice one
mmh. this looks like a fun toy to carry all my tech bits on when i have to go sort out someones laptop. How good is the battery life?
I have the Gauntlet (which is the aero but bring your own HD basis). Build quality is not good (screws too long) but it is small, quiet and a godsend for those suffering from inadequate storage on a tablet (note to tablet designers: wi-fi is not always free, may have caps if available at all).
The Patriot app is OK, it works but not a lot of bells and whistles. Using it with an android tablet you cannot be connected to both a wi-fi network and the gauntlet it is one or the other. Gauntlet can act as bridge to proper wi-fi but it is unbelievably slow. Speed of wi-fi connection between Gauntlet and tablet is also an issue. If, like me, you rip all blu rays to HD on an uncompressed basis, then Gauntlet wifi does not have band width to stream to your tablet. Standard DVD is fine though.
Broadly it is very good as a first generation product but needs at least a couple more generations to be truly useful
howdy doody.
could always do with more storage, those holiday videos and random animal photos wont transport themselves
