They really should come up with a different name for it, it's pretty misleading. I know it's because they don't charge licensing for it, but I bet there's a lot of folks who don't delve into things who would buy it without realising it.

And ya I know it's their own fault..but still.

Ah well.

you can still use adaptive sync if you go into the nvidia control panel, which is a whole lot better then the useless Vsync

adaptive sync works best on digital connections, but it still is better then Vsync on VGA especially in id software games like rage with all the screen tear

Never know till you ask. Mind you you never know if you need to find a new vet if you do ask.
