I can't believe so many people have fallen for it, it's been clear to see that the PS3 wouldn't be in limited supply.
Sony have gotten it right with their staggered worldwide launch, plenty more consoles to go around. There shouldn't be a problem picking up a PS3 in most retail outlets this weekend. Mind you, with so many available and not selling on eBay, you might well be able to pick up a bargain on there for a change!
Heh I think a few people are in for bargain PS3's
Awesome ... All those profiteers screwed.
Someone with 6 PS3s might even lose out on more than the value of a whole PS3.
Under EU law, anyone who has bought a PS3 can return it within 7 days for a full refund, provided they havent opened it. So nobody should lose out really if they know what theyre doing.
The silly thing is if they could hang on for a few days when the shop stocks may possibly run low/out then they may well be able to turn a profit.
With what happened over the 360 and Wii I considered doing it as a means of getting a free one, then it got pushed back after christmas and I spent the money
"You've gotta laugh when you fall off a sofa!"
I laugh at the scores of idiots. Anyone that blindly buys a load of stuff without even knowing their market is destined to get screwed.
As the old saying goes, "a fool and his money are soon parted"

I can't help but find this quite funny...
Im not sure it is so much Sony's staggered launch has much to do to it - how many more consoles did the PS3 UK launch have than the UK one?
Demand doesnt seem that high to me - there were no queues etc in the shops this morning when I picked up Brian Laras foir the 360 and chatting to the assistant they said the pre-orders wasnt as high as expected.
Well its a relief for me, I was so so close to trying to pre order one for ebay (have no desire or need for one for me)..but luckily the demand seems to agree with me that its not worth the money
I don't really know if its just sony managing their stocks well or if it really is a failure compared to the 360 and wii launch, will have to wait for the sales figures there I think. Either way - if you want a PS3 - go to ebay!
It's obviously a wrong step to buy so many ps3 to make money on ebay.
Sorry to threadjack, but the icons on the pm/quote/reply buttons in this particular forum appear to be using the old hexus logo.
