I was responding to GSV Trig who said the blame shouldn't be solely aimed at the manager but you're right, they're not a team. Just a bunch of overpaid haircuts who cry when they lose and display very little character or passion otherwise.

I'm no expert on football (Rugby's far superior, IMHO) but even I can see a lack of vision and passion in the shower that trotted out into the marsh that's supposed to be England's national pitch last night.

There are so many fundemental flaws that we've still not addressed. Whenever we play a top quality side, the left and right backs always stop our wingbacks and left and right midfielders getting past them but forcing them inside, as soon as they do this we can't play the ball quick enough to make room for people.

We're SOOO slow as a team at passing the ball quickly to make space for other players, Croatia showed us up soooooo badly at this last night. And as much as i think their manager was a complete **** at his celebrations at the 3rd goal at least he had the good mind to show the passion and importance the win meant to him.

It showed in his players throughout. When we got 2-2 and i told all the mates in the pub i'd sub carson, I still would put money on David James saving that 3rd goal.

He looks thoroughly delighted on the ITV news of his sacking. I'd like to see him cry or at least show some real remorse.

although i am not disappointed at his departure as i never felt he was right man for the job.

the blame cant be shouldered by him at least he had the guts to drop the likes of beckham occasionally england lack passion fire and belief, look at scotland and n.ireland (i mean neither any disrespect) but in tough groups were both teams were given no chance of qualification both came so close and i feel both deserved to qualify.

if england were to show half that passion and belief we would be a great side.

and even though we didn't qualify i am not that bothered as he would have only played crouch and wright-phillips why beckham rooney and owen were injured both players would be on great form and get dropped in the quarters so we can lose to portugal or germany.
