After fiddling with the 360's new media capabilities I'm not going to be retiring my xbox with xbmc quite yet.

the 360 is a poor media machine. the ps3 is better behaved, and will be getting mpeg4 part 2 support soon.

if your nas box is linux based and remotely hackable (e.g. a linksys nslu2), you could run a upnp server on it and be sorted
