most anticapted game for 2008 for me will be GTA IV...

and the previous halo 3 comments i do agree with them , having seen the total players online at 1.3million players in the first week. that really stunned me. great game, but as everyone is pointing out there were so many good releases to choose from this year.

i've spent years with online gaming. i just can't find it exciting. fun, even exhilarating on the rare occasions i don't totally suck balls, but i like some motivation in my games. motivation beyond "kill them before they kill you, in the same arena you've been on a hundred times". it's something to do when mates are around, but not something i'd actively seek out

in the end, i think i just prefer games with a story

Its hardly as thou the multiplayer in halo3 offers nothing over the original Unreal Tournement? Granted polished up a bit.
