This is why I'm a firm believer that companies should stick to what they started out with. Something will always suffer when you add more on.

Warning: Orange has run out of jiffy bags!

Following my condemnation of Orange's customer service last week, I've now found that it just gets worse. Could the company that claims "the future's bright" really provide service this bad?

If it was me i'd now be telling them that I don't want any services from them in the future and could I have both the PAC codes for the mobile numbers.

Good write up and an enjoyable read. I remember Watch Dog talking about Orange and their horrid customer service a good few months back. I guess it didn't make them change any.

I've tried that Funkstar, but I can't get my PAC code until they've received back the wrong phone they sent me.

Re: The future's dull, the future's Orange

Score! My Jiffy bag arrived yesterday, so I've sent back the wrong handset they'd posted me.

What's the chances of the refund going through painlessly? Interesting times ahead...

Re: The future's dull, the future's Orange

For the record, T-mobile have some excellent CS from my experience. 8/10 times that i call them everything is sorted without any hassle, and its always painfree! Overall iv been very impressed with T-mobile and would recommend them quite strongle!

Best of all....none of those stupid, waste-of-time overseas call centres either!

ps; just hope they impress me as much when my contract comes up for renewal next month!

Re: The future's dull, the future's Orange

Well on the subject of Orange and jiffy bags and Orange UPGRADE RETURNS ORANGE PCS LTD BANBURY LOGISTIC CENTRE.
They have overcome the issue of Jiffy Bags. I had three brand new handsets all with the same problem. On the Nokia slide not recognising the memory card. I decided enough was enough i want to change it.

I was instructed to post my phone back to Banbury Logisitcs, and that i would be reimburst for the postage and that within three days i could ring them up on reciept of the handset they would send me another one.

Here i am 7 days later and Banbury Logistics have not acknowledged reciept of the handset with orange, who confirmed they recieved the handset a week ago.

Orange are blaming Banbury logistics and i have been told that i can expect to wait until at least the end of the week, so two weeks without a handset.

Re: The future's dull, the future's Orange

Orange have finaly sent out my new phone, i was instructed to send it back to them recorded next day delivery. But they have sent my new phone out by standard parcel force. So i am so pleased that they have not bothered to consider that i have been without a handset for nearly two weeks thanks to there very poor customer service. Considering i am still paying

Re: The future's dull, the future's Orange

If you renew your contract at an orange shop and you have an issue with the phone, if it is within the 28 days as there returns policy do not deal with customer service on the telephone as it is to confusing for them. Return it to the shop and demand a new phone or exchange. because if you deal with customer services on the phone you will end up with a reconitioned phone. When they should be instructing you to take it back to the shop to be dealt with.
