If you configure the advanced options you can request work units that don't expire.
fah -config will let you get back into the options.

    Hope that helps,

    Josh

I still can't get it to work on my home rig with Vistax64, just won't upload units even tho it's got a clear path thro the firewall & router, even with UAC off.

My only concern is should I hide my true identity? A costume maybe?

0iD: Plus weeing in it every now & again does it good
scaryjim: 10" is just a little large to hold comfortably in one hand, which makes it a lot harder to tap, swipe and generally interact with.

Re: Join the HEXUS Folding@home team

I did try this a while ago to no luck on my main machine, really couldnt get any of the versions working.

Im pretty much gonna need an idiot step by step guide.

Main rig is running an E6600 with Vista

+ Laptop is a Macbook Pro with the same processer as my main rig just the mobile one, with both Leopord + XP on there.

So idiot guide would be nice, and on the mac front is the mac client better than the windows one?

Re: Join the HEXUS Folding@home team

so how come folding@home is such a big deal out of all the distributed computing software?

Currently I'm running world community grid which seems like its for a very valuable cause. Is there any reason folding@home is better?

i'm not really sure, it's just the one we have put a team effort into i guess.

makes aims and goals a bit more achievable if we stick to one project. and you get some competition going

Re: Join the HEXUS Folding@home team

I've been folding for about 6 years so it was quite an easy choice for me.

For the Hexus teams, we had a group decision to fold.

And we're doing pretty damn good at it too.
