Isnt a Deli where you get fresh sliced cooked meats etc?
They look quite nice tho, and by the time you've factored the frequent dell discount coupons into the price tag.....
Looks promising - question is how much the mid range one costs (1gb/camera/8gb) as that's comparable to the acer one.
Not sure i'll wait till august if acer ship early july though.
It looks great, and it's guaranteed to be competitively priced, but that name is unbelievably lame...
ASUS must be wetting themselves.
does it have an express card slot? that would perfect for me as a light college machine.
I prefered inspiron mini lol
I'd prefer to have a dell product over acer but I'm still edging towards the acer tbh. I'll wait for both though.
Who else is so cynical they see $299 becoming £299?
Yup - allowing for currency correction the based models probably going to come at £200+ quid. Hence why i'm interested in the 'middle' model as that's what's competing with the £199 acer. Of course acer might also ship at above projected price..
Of course being a Dell.. it'll come with a £60 delivery charge too
I believe the range through DSGi are models specifically designed for the chain, based on or around the specifications of some of the laptops in their web store.
AFAIK, its only specific models thus far, but you could be right given the sourcing of the Eee PC for the Currys.Digital stores.
Especially if the Dell E is going to have fixed specification for each of the models, like the Eee
Got to be said - this part of the market is *really* hotting up....
