remember Hexus are also in bed with other retailers (Yoyo)... but the user base here do have a bonding with Scan... sometimes I feel guilty when I order stuff from elsewhere

if i lived in londinium i would probably be in yoyo everyday after bits, but from a mail order perspective they certainly lack the clout of a scan/ebuyer "we are omnipotent and omnipresent" style store.

i look at it slightly as a mcdonalds forum where your free to talk about how tasty whoppers are..
anyway this is very off topic sorry

just been broswing the web for more news on gfx cards... still undecided on gtx 280 and one of the new ati cards. but stumbled upon something quite interesting. on the specialtech forum over at cpu3d forum, there was a post saying that the 4850 series is going to be released at 2pm today.... no specific words on the 4870 though. never used specialtech before but have come across their site when i've been searching for prices.

The Orange or Black Box from Valve (I can't remember which exactly). All reviews had cards that included it, but as far as I am aware none of the cards on sale in the UK had it in the package.

Wow have AMD finally got something right ???
As soon as some Silent ones come out I'm going for 2 of these babies!!!
The fact it beats my 8800GT hands down and I paid loads more for it. This looks like a steal
