Now that I've thought about it more, I noticed last week that their UK telephone numbers had been stopped.

Please don't buy anything from Scan. I'd miss them.

I haven't bought from Komplett for about 3 years, i just buy from scan and ebuyer now. Komplett always had trouble authorising my card details?? Never had this problem with the others.

I had this too. The bank said it was because they were non UK based so additional security checks kick in.

Couldn't have come soon enough - my experience of these cowboys was very frustrating - they deliberately continually flouted British consumer laws (yes - I have the written proof).

    Good riddance!

Komplett used to be excitingly cheap, but that was 3+ years ago. The 8RDA+, Maxtor 200GB HD and 2x512MB TwinMOS w/Winbond modules I'm using right now were bargains at the time. I've been on their mailing list for years and their weekly offers just got less and less competitive. I reckon it's largely down to currency fluctuations, though I can't actually be bothered to look up the price of Norwegian Kronor over the last four years to back up my hypothesis.
