Well I've just bought a Kobalt OC3 system after seeing the review of their ICE in Custom PC mag - glad I did now especially as Vadim were my other choice.

Shame to hearSome of their gear did look of a high standard and a i did mention to a friend who wasn't keen on DIY PC to get one from them as they looked sweet.
glad he didn't now cos' i wouldn't have heard the last of it...
I wasn't impressed by them. I spent over £7K on my state of the art quad cpu, dual sli, raid 0, water cooled beast. After nearly 2 years and 3 motherboards, 3 cpu, 2 lots of memory, a change of disks it still doesn't work. I was on the verge of taking them to court when I heard this news.
I bought a pre-built system from them expecting they would have checked if the parts actually work properly with each other which they didn't. They say they test them but usually within hours of getting it back I would find problems.
It's the last time I buy such a piece of kit from an outfit like them. Next time it'll have to be a Dell or similar even if it isn't the very latest or hotest hardware as least I'll be able to trust it (I've had 9 Dell's with no real problems).
Hey sparkz (welcome to the forum), under the credit card act (section 75, I think) the CC Co. have equal responsibility.
So, assuming you used a credit card to buy the pc, you should get in touch with your CC people to see what they can do, I hope you kept all your coresopdonce with Vadim (receipts, emails, etc.)

Thanks vinnyT. I'll check that out.
I thought there was some sort of time limit under for sorting out such things but I'll certainly look into it. What's the worst that can happen!
