Thumbs up Re: Headlines - New Stars Wars MMO from Bioware confirmed

OMG.... this is the first I have seen of this...

I am one of the original SWG players... before SOE butchered it....

I can only hope this latest attempt with Bioware is everything that SWG started out to be and more!

I can't wait for this game, I loved the original KoTOR games, and if this is done right an MMO would be insanely good.

Yep, just have to look at bioware's list of games and you can feel comfortable:
    # Shattered Steel (1996)
    # Baldur's Gate (1998)

    * Baldur's Gate: Tales of the Sword Coast (1999)

    # MDK2 (2000)
    # Baldur's Gate II: Shadows of Amn (2000)

    * Baldur's Gate II: Throne of Bhaal (2001)

    # Neverwinter Nights (2002)

    * Neverwinter Nights: Shadows of Undrentide (2003)
    * Neverwinter Nights: Hordes of the Underdark (2003)
    * Neverwinter Nights: Kingmaker (2005)

    # Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic ("KotOR") (2003)
    # Jade Empire (2005)
    # Mass Effect (2007)
    # Sonic Chronicles: The Dark Brotherhood (2008)
    # Dragon Age: Origins (2009)
    # Mass Effect 2 (in-development)
    # Mass Effect 3 (pre-development)
    # Star Wars: The Old Republic

Some absolutely great games in there, and at worst slightly above average, overall I'm very confident this will be an MMO worth paying for and playing unlike the vast majority on the shelves at the minute.
