i'm disappointed that they still haven't given it the shrinky treatment (and probably never will if they're just cutting prices), it's a prime candidate for pstwo/psone/dslite/gba-sp/gbpocket/nes2/megadrive2/mastersystem2 treatment

a good refresh could be in order, make the thing not sound like it doubles up for ryanair on the weekends.

Considering the mess that MS have made of the 360, would you trust them to make a shrunk down console? I don't.

    Codename WTF right?

And it'll be a current gen console when it comes out as everyone else is HD already....and the Wii is essentially a turbo GameCube

why are you complaining about a price cut?

I wasn't complaining, in fact if you read I said if it does filter through over here it might cause me to get one. OK which is bad, as I spend money!

Re: News - Microsoft aims for the casual: Xbox 360 now cheaper than Wii

I can't see that link that sweets posted... could someone just confirm that it is an actual link for me? I'm aware that this computer is totally mucked up and occassionally does stuff like not show webpages properly.

As for Wii vs XBOX.. it does come down to price I'm afraid. I'd rather spend £100 on an XBOX w/out games (as I can "borrow" some from friends if needed) and have something that I can afford than save up for 6 months and then spend £200 on a Wii (or whatever the cost is) with some games.

Besides, XBOXs are more fun than Wiis in the long run IMO

That website has a 'certificate problem', according to windows firewall
And it's not actually there if you continue...

Anyway, thanks to my big sis, we now have both an xbox 360 and a wii in our house
Wii is pretty hard to handle at first, mind.

I reckon 360's are for proper gaming, whereas wiis are more for laughs, party games and the like.
