Let's throw this in an explosive mix!

HEXUS.community member Hibby can take the credit for getting yesterday's HEXUS.pipeline but RedFlames and duc did pretty well with the clues. Here's today's teaser: A facade fixing lotions with almost Herculean numbers.
    Watch the show.

Its the Foxconn DigitaLife A79A-S motherboard

Facade = synonym = disguise, guise, mask, pretense, = con artist leads me to think its another foxconn.

Herculean numbers = £200 huge price tag

Don't know why 79 = almost Herculean numbers (I was thinking 11; ie almost 12, the number of labours of Hercules.)

Re: Let's throw this in an explosive mix!

The destruction of Pompeii 79 AD and the city of Herculaneum maybe?

to add it was the 24th August 79AD so take the A from August A79AD

Explosive mix = Mount Vesuvius blew its top spewing tons of molten ash pumice sulfuric gas into the atmosphere?

Hehe, once again your combined brain power has done it.

sammyc got the anagram and VictorE got the explosive/Herculean references.

I always wondered when my Roman history would come in handy...

Re: Let's throw this in an explosive mix!

and here was me thinking it was one of those 'plane' based answers again..

almost herculean numbers.. have a look at what was on google. - search for hercules aircraft - 5th one down..

hercules aircraft.. and those numbers are almost what the answer was.. r7a9 = A79.. its almost right isn't it?

explosive mix - well when you see one of those aircraft coming towards you on a bombing run (dropping the explosives).. you tend to think "Aww Shi*".. letters A-S.

    A79A-S.. i'll get my coat..

well done VictorE and sammyc.. the cookies are real tasty..

Re: Let's throw this in an explosive mix!

ROFL i like your thinking Stevie check this out, before sammyc suggested Herculean numbers
which helped me. I nearly came out with this idea,

A facade = is generally one side of the exterior of a building,

fixing lotions = cement mix Bricks and Mortar,

Mortar = being another term for an explosive device hence Explosive Mix.

Absolutely nothing to do with the clue but Hows that for a brain fart? lol.

Now wheres that cookie i'm famished..
