Saw this a week or so back and it looks good. Shame it's so price as I really need a cheap 2bay or more GB nas that doesn't look crap or is poor quality. All the ones out there don't fit the bill for me.
I really like these but I never understand why they're so expensive. I mean for $1800 you could easily build a 7.5tb fileserver and install some form on linux on it which would make it even better than a NAS.

Support costs money.
Simple as that really.
Could be the compact/custom hardware design and the looks that bring it's price up. Power usage could be a factor too.
question is - do they do a black one with a red light?
