or
Equivalent specifications every three years?
According to the T&Cs:
Not the cheapest of laptops though although I suppose this is to be expected with this deal...The replacement Lifebook value will be determined by the original purchase price shown on the invoice, increased by 10% every 3 years. For example; a Lifebook purchased for £1000 today would be exchanged for a model with a recommended retail price not exceeding £1100 in 3 years time.
For the curious, I get that as an equivalent interest rate of 3.23%The replacement Lifebook value will be determined by the original purchase price shown on the invoice, increased by 10% every 3 years. Hi guys, I was intrigued by this offer, so sent through a few questions to FSC, who for the record, responded within two hours, even though i sent the email at 9pm!
Responses below
1) The claim for the replacement must be made within 28 days of the third anniversary of the original purchase. It is your responsibility to ensure that you remember to claim.
2) Damage is not covered by a warranty, nor are faults caused by misuse. The laptop should be in cosmetically good condition too, with just fair wear and tear.
3) You can purchase the original Lifebook from any authorised reseller
4) (the only one that probably needs the original question stated: 'What would happen if Lifebook prices suddenly skyrocketed? For example, if I purchased a £1,000 laptop, then in 3 years, your cheapest Lifebook was £1,200, would I be able to claim this laptop?' Response: It would be replaced with the closest priced model
5) No, you do not have to upgrade your warranty in future
Hope this helps
