Except that you still need a TV license to watch live tv streamed through the internet.

The Silverlight application and Sky Player is of very poor quality in full screen and extremely processor intensive. Why on earth didn't sky adopt flashplayer instead of this software? It wasn't great when they used Media Player, but it was far better than this latest 'offering' of a bloated, buggy client.

My folks have multiroom so I get Sky Player for free on my PC. I certainly wouldn't pay for what currently amounts to complete and utter rubbish.
