I wish that Apple would add support for tethering so I could give my laptop / Tomtom network access via my iPhone. I've tried to use the NetShare app but never had any success with it.

I don't see there being a new model any time soon. Short of the current one getting a storage boost.

They've just announced a huge heap of software improvements so they can hold of the hardware for a while longer.

there seems to be quite a lot speculation that apple is releasing a new model in June, some photos were leaked of cases and i believe that there has been references found to a new model in the latest software 2.2
