News - Novatech launches dual-core Atom-based nettop, calls it Ion Fusion

Interesting little system, but not to be confused with NVIDIA's ION.

Re: News - Novatech launches dual-core Atom-based nettop, calls it Ion Fusion

According to Novatech, its Ion Fusion brand is a result of a community-led forum competition, and it just so happens to have an uncanny resemblance to other industry brands. Make of that what you will.
appalling bunch of people, the logo reminds me of the Gillette fusion one too

I love gillette's naming as well; the gillette fusion power stealth - an invisible razer powered by a cold fusion reactor apparently...
They should stick a few more generic words on the end: gillette fusion power stealth ultra maximum win edition

Re: News - Novatech launches dual-core Atom-based nettop, calls it Ion Fusion

One potential difference between this and the Wind NetTop - this appears to have the PSU built in, whereas I think the Wind uses an external powerbrick. Could give this one the very slight edge as it should make the cabling slightly tidier...

Stupid name though, and REALLY stupid logo

this one could potentially be noisier though, id rather have a power brick than an extra whiny little fan

No DVI? Who uses VGA cables nowadays?

Could make a decent, but basic HTPC. The lack of DVI or HDMI is a bit of a showstopper though, but VGA is not always the bad option people think.

I quite fancy an impulse buy!
