It's a shame really as in my view all their consumer products (AMD and ATi) are right on the money now. Hopefully they can start making some money again.

How come AMD can survive with such staggering loses? How many quarters have AMD made a consequentive loses? 7, 8 or 9 even?
Maybe the Phemon II combined with ATI graphics sales, will have an effect this quarter? Maybe?

I think it's partially down to the amount of assets they have. these chip manufacturing locations don't come cheap

And then there is the market share that must be worth a bit (or you'd hope so).
