Does it come with the caveats of RAID too? If there are pending writes in the cache and the system loses power, is that it, data corrupt? Or does it have a BBU? If not can you disable the cache? How fast is it without the cache?

To err is human. To really foul things up ... you need a computer.
Can you even boot from PCIe?
My understanding is not (someone please correct me if I'm wrong) - so what's the point of spending £1k on a superfast drive that you can't even run your main operating system on?!?! (and no I don't care for a super fast photoshop paging file). Fail...
correct my understanding but if your conecting something in raid 0 then surely the capacity doesnt grow with number of drives, just the speed then someone explain how
"1TB SSD, made up of four 256GB drives in RAID0"
that works?
they are using 4 smaller drives in stripping config to make 1 big one, surely thats JBOD set up?
i smell something fishy here
ah my bad i always thought data was writen to one drive only and on the other drive filed with a blanck space i was wrong

Granted it's a pre-production version, but it gives you an idea of what it's like.
