I'm assuming you mean MB/s and not GB/s?

Wonder if this will work with all SSDs or just theirs? Is it just a "trim" tool for other OSs (like the thing OCZ have in beta) or something different. And does it require reformatting the SSD?

Just downloaded it... it's the beta of Wiper.exe - same as OCZ have had for ages.

Taking a wild guess (firmware with TRIM support), these guys are using the same Indilinx controller for their "5th gen" drives as OCZ are in the Vertex. OCZ put out a trim-firmware about a month ago, and have been beta-ing the Wiper.exe software since then.

Wiper.exe is supposed to work well for 32bit OSs, but have quite severe issues with 64bit.
