Someone left a note on a piece of cake in the fridge that said, "Do not eat!". I ate the cake and left a note saying, "Yuck, who the hell eats paper ?

If it is £50 for a full retail version as people are syaing then thats a bargain imo! only what do so with vista which i spent £100 for for full retain version afterwards
How does Win7 know if I already have a copy of XP? Do I have to type the licence key from the XP install I have and then the licence key from the Win7 install?
If I have an enterprise licence key for XP can I use this for an upgrade?
Dont want to buy the full version if I dont need to.
No, there is no upgrade version in the EU - it's full version only.
The pre-order thingy deal
hi guys
so is this pre-order service for windows 7 for ultimate as well as the other win 7 types?
you can get home and pro but no talk of ultimate at all
or have i missed something here?
Anyone know if technet will get the non-E non-EU versions of Windows?
The whole E thing seems like a huge unnecessary pain.
Cant believe so many people who have paid loads for Vista recently are going to buy Windows 7 as well on launch? Surely your Vista will still be supported? Is it really that much different?
Yep, see my system spec. I been using Windows 7 RC and its great. Difference is that i have had XP for ages. Just wondering for those of you who have Vista, does 7 actually offers that much difference? Must be pretty annoying to shell out for another OS so soon after Vista, especially with no upgrade option.
Not really, more of the same. It's good. It just doesn't warrant the price tag if you already have Vista. Microsoft have pretty much said 'screw you chumps, thanks for your cash and doing all that bug fixing for us, now give us more' to Vista users.
