Family pack would be nice. But as I have a domain, Home Premium is not a lot of good. Wonder what the chances are of a family pack for Ultimate? And of course, I have 4 PC's. Not sure I can bring myself to spend around £1000 for OS licences.

I guess that's the tradeoff for using corporate features at home

Any reason you need a domain? I have a virtualised domain on an ESXi box which I use for testing (usign Technet licensing) , but my regular PCs are no longer part of it.

Ultimate is a waste of money in my opinion. Just buy a couple of copies of Pro, it has the doman join feature capability.

Obviously still gonna work out quite expensive. But from what I hear that don't plan on doing an Family Pack for Pro.
