    At work (in retail) they've now completely moved onto these kinds of USB drives from the old pen style, and as far as I can make out it's been a complete disaster. People look at them, think about the size of a USB slot, then say no thanks and walk out. No amount of telling somebody "it will fit" will help when it looks so clearly the wrong size.

    Not to mention that while small is good, when things gets too small they tend to just be a complete pain to own. Maybe these kind of things will succeed in certain areas, but I don't believe that they'll ever take off in a big way.

    You also have to make sure they are inserted the right way round. If not then they are just a lump of plastic

    I have a couple of SanDisk SD+USB cards that are the same as this. and while they are great for me, they do confuse people.

    Don't see why they'd be confusing, can see people losing these left right and centre.
