I haven't. I'm not a parent. But i have zero issues with simply saying "no" to any grottly little brat if they want to play something I deem age-inappropriate. If they can debate their case in a cogent manner, then that's fine - if they can't, they're not old enough

And I'm firmly of the opinion that just because kids might play on a console, then said console shouldn't be kept free from "corrupting influences" like porn or violent games for those old enough for it

It would never be released without the need for age clarification anyways, perhaps activation by credit card or something.

Any new multimedia platform will eventually have porn on it. Happened with mobiles and computers, now it's consoles. Surprised it took so long tbh, consoles have had net connectivity and a large male following for a long time now. Perfect marketplace for porn.

I think the only thing that's stopped them so far is the control the console manufacturers have maintained over their own content distribution networks e.g PSN and LIVE. As technology has advanced this grip has loosened, with the addition of web browsers and alike.

You'll probably never see porn backed by Sony or MS officially on their platforms, but it was going to work it's way there eventually. End of the day; Sex sells. It was only a matter of time.

Oh, I have no doubts that kids should be held back from certain stuff. I wouldn't want a child of 7 to play, I dunno, System Shock 2.

The kid probably wont want to play system shock 2 either, look dad, the graphics are crap, look at them dumb monkeys not as good as finding joker in the new batman game!
