Allow me to stop lurking on the forums for a change, to come out of the wood work, and say in the words of Joey himself:
Nope, if that's your p o v, then that's what it is There's never anything wrong with that, I mean, you may well have a point, and stand vindicated, but that's the spirit of Hexus really. We're not going to shout you down if your opinion goes against the grain as long as it's put across in a rational manner. We need peeps such as yourself, who express their opinion honestly & eloquently to keep this place alive with lively debate without descending into a flame war.
So keep on keeping on extremeedition!
Jesus... it's like the Chris Evans/ Terry Wogan controversy.
But with more bad mannners.
Let's give the girl a chance, eh?

welcome to HEXUS sylvie, hope you enjoy the banter and the SCAN postage
Hi Guys,
first of all, thanks to all of you for your welcome and comments. I'm really excited and incredibly proud to be HEXUS' newest recruit and hope to provide you all with news you find interesting and worth reading. Always.
I know a couple of you (Zoomee and Extremeedition) have expressed some concern over my lack of technical knowledge, and it's not an unfair point, because I don't come from a hardcore tech background. I do however have a profound love of technology, a passion to learn everything I can about it, and a conviction that if I'm wrong, you will all help offer enough constructive criticism to put me back on the right track.
This is the first time in my journalistic career that I've had such a dedicated and tight knit team of professionals around me, and I'm sure their collective wisdom will rub off and have a positive effect. Still, if I'm wrong, missing the point, or being just plain stupid about something, please tell me, and I'll make every effort to improve.
So here's to a clean slate, a fresh start, and a great learning experience. Looking forward to reading all your comments in the future.
Sylves
