I think people are missing the point...they actually DID something that shows they care about their customers
Argos haven't shipped out yet. Order status suggests they will be contacting me by Tuesday 20th to arrange a delivery date and time. Nothing yet.
I wouldn't be surprised if there was some sort of penalty towards PC World for this early delivery. I'm sure retailers have a strict contract with Microsoft not to release Windows 7 before 22nd. See how that pans out for them.
Grrrrr.
Nothing from Amazon. "Will ship soon."
No emails from MS on the upgrade license either...
Grrrrrrr.
Society's to blame,
Or possibly Atari.
Hi Phage - Have they taken payment yet?
Got an email last night from Amazon saying it had been sent out, including a City Link tracking number which shows it should be delivered today
Mine is an online download verison, won't be released for download until tomorrow, but tonight I will be doing prep work like copying files of my primary drive so that it can be formated, not to mention a 3 hour long stress test due to a change in OC settings. (I reduced the OC from 3.8 to 3.6 so that I could reduce the fan speeds, thus making the machine run quieter).
Thursday night will be spent installing Windows 7 and all my programs. Like I said, fun night.

Update: Dispatched today from Amazon via DHL.
(The bad news is that DHL tracking seems to be down ATM)
