    Opensource, it means anyone can build a developer release and make it publicly available.

    Screams set-top box and smartphone to me.

    As to why something so small needs to be installed on an SSD to work......I am baffled.

    I also think the webapps are going to be locked into chrome-os only somehow,
    and also only available by putting them on google appstore...

    So it might look like linux + chrome, but with more lock-in and less "free".
