there's been so many ps3 hack claims in the past and all have failed to materialise. i don't think there's been a working confirmation of this hack either.
Sounds like rubbish to me. Anything you could do with QEMU you should be able to do with the standard hardware. I fail to understand why something running in a Windows VM would allow you to hack a PS3.
RRP yes, 360 games drop in price a LOT quicker and lower though

Darksiders hasn't been out 2 weeks and its a few quid already difference
Dirt 2 is £10 cheaper on 360 and BELOW the classics RRP
All games out at the same time, same RRP on both formats
Even exclusives tend to be £40 on each platform.

Apparently as of yesturday, after 3 years, 2 months, 11 days. It looks like the PS3 has finally been hacked by the same guy who originally hacked the iPhone, "Geohot". Seems legit, I was tempted to make a new thread about it but dont want to support piracy, just find this interesting.

Just read through that site, it's got nothing to do with piracy so no problems with Hexus linkage in my opinion. Or is someone trying to prevent links to decrease its page ranking score?
Given what he's said, he's just managed to get through the hypervisor - certainly not in a position to start running copied games, to say the least. It's certainly a big breakthrough though.
