Yeah right. People usually flock to what the media says. That's why it was so important for Microsoft to get a good public image of Windows 7 through the media. Everyone (except for Apple fanatics) raved about Windows 7 and the result was huge sales for Microsoft.
The iPad has gotten a huge stain in the public eye, not just due to the pathetic name. CNN tried to glorify it a little by comparing it to the Kindle e-book reader of all things, as opposed to comparing it to it's actual direct competition of the netbook.
When compared to a netbook, the iPad is an utter and complete failure. Anyone that gets one is literally crapping their money down the toilet, although I know Mac fanatics tend to enjoy doing that anyway because of the pretty Apple logo.
