Please do not message me about Scan Free shipping, I no longer work for HEXUS.net
Wow, of all time? Awesome, thank you.
Nah, it stopped me hanging around McDonalds on my moped.
Yep, you got it 100% and in no way would any of these tests actually be useful to anyone in seeing just what the expensive hardware they might buy would be able to withstand... and therefore be useful and informative as well as being entertaining.
In fact, here's a tip: You will not like anything that I put on HEXUS.tv, ever. There we go, just saved you a shedload of time wondering if it'd be worth it... more time to keep yourself on that No. 1 pedestal.
(And saved myself some time from having to read your banal comments. )
I don't know it could be fairly interesting to dissect some hardware without the fear of voiding any warranties or destroying precious data.
Ok so you might think a hard drive isn't THE most interesting item in the world when broken down into its various components but there will be other cool things in the future.
I don't think my cheely sarcasm came across in the post, I think Nick got what I meant though
I thought it dragged a bit but i get the point of the video and competition so im not complaining!.
I think some people missed the point, this is where hexus show you if gear that claims is unbreakable etc can actually break under normal usage just like dropping a hard drive while walking with it, if ity didnt survive i certainly wouldnt buy it and that would mean Hexus saved me a good amount of cash.
Now Nick, leave the HDD intact and send to my address would yah ? I need a new drive as my system one is dieing
I quite liked it, it was obviously very tongue in cheek rather than very serious, the same as alot of HEXUS' videos, it gets the information across in a more entertaining way, and shows that a company has a more 'human side' to it...
If you want standard media drivel of someone reading the manufacturers marketing spiel then go somewhere else...
If you feel that the competition is 'pointless' then you're missing the inherent irony of the situation...

I asked to be the one to jump off a building while holding a good bouncy hard drive.. to then position it under my feet while free-falling and to then escape unscathed due to the drive's strength.
However, Nick, Stephan and Luke all pointed out that they intended me for a similar role, minus the hard drive, so I await the text message and the location.

In the internets, no-one can hear you sarcasm.
Sarcasm on the internets is like winking on the phone...
You owe me 6minutes of my life.
