Re: News - Chaintech joins the high-speed DDR3 scene

Could Hexus do an article benching the effects of higher speed RAM modules?

I'm after more capacity rather than speed, but maybe there's a reason everyone is chasing speed at lower capacities instead?

Speaking as a developer and not as a heavy gamer, I can safely say that RAM capacity is much more important than speed. I feel no imminent need to upgrade my 6GB of DDR2.
    PHP Code:

why don't they do something amazing and make some RAM based on samsung's 30nm class chips. 4GB/module sans the price premium over 2GB/module is much more impressive than some xtra xpensive xdition marketing crap.

Is this the same Chaintech of motherboards fame? I didn't realise they also made RAM modules and come to think of it, I haven't seen a motherboard from them for a while, have they diversified or am I getting the wrong company?
