Yeah, you two do that and you will see MP community dwindle!
THQ have now jumped on-board, after a leaked copy of UFC 2010 hit the net and the discovery was made, THQ stated that all new copies of the game would come with an unlock code for the online modes while those who get their hands on a second hand copy will have to pay to unlock them.
What ? One more?
Bloody ____'s wanna make money wherever they see the opportunity. First, it was piracy .. now its USED games. I am having trouble buying DLC's and now I have to pay extra for MP?
1) Yes, businesses want to make money. Hello capitalism. If you want to put forward state sponsored game development instead then feel free
2) No, you don't have to. Nice thing about free markets is you don't have to use it and therefore pay for it if you don't think it's value for money. So far I've not seen any convincing argument that choosing not to play a game is detrimental to quality of life.
Profiteering scumbags
I think the $10 charge is fine. I'm from England so it doesn't effect me!
No, I'm not really that stupid, but I do agree with it. I'm very interested in how the used-game market will counter it though. Also, I buy about 3 to 5 console games a year but do not play them online, so I can just put my online code key onto eBay or something for $5.
