There's nothing to review, all addresses entered are resolved by the OSes DNS resolver. Top level domains are linked to the root nameservers, the .xxx domains is resolved by the .xxx domain servers, etc..is HEXUS doing a review of 'compatibility of the new .xxx domain and various browsers'
.xxx would need no more browser compatibility testing than the .biz domain that was approved of not so long ago.
Why not? There's top level domains for commercial entities, government entities, non-profit entities, etc...
It all depends if they intend to enforce the .xxx domain.
If they do force all "adult" domains to use .xxx and nothing else, then they must enforce .org, .net and .com too.

Does it really matter if it's enforced or not? The adult industry has been asking for .xxx so they can be self-regulating for ages, I can only see this as a good thing for companies and parents as it'd make filtering a whole lot easier. Even catching 99% of the smut is still 99% caught.
Because there are enough already?
Also given how most porn sites fail to deliver anything but silly spyware, hence why as a recent mac user, I know I'm immune, because we don't need any smut, what with all the hot girls and scooters we have.....
