How do 0800 numbers work? As someone who has no access to a landline, and get charged for 0800 calls on my mobile (falls outside contract minutes for some annoying reason ) I'm left trying to find a geographic number for freephone numbers. I could see this being handy if 0800 numbers are free.

Google needs a real Skype alternative (ie. separate program) and not a thing that is embedded into their googlemail accounts.
